Our Story
Experience Pays
Fred and Lorie Frandson started Frandson Safety Inc, in October 2001. Frandson Safety currently has 14 full-time employees. The company’s staff have over 100 years of combined experience in the field of safety. Frandson Safety’s customer base has also grown over the past years, as we offer a variety of services not just for the oil and gas fields, but for all businesses in and around the rocky mountain area.
The company is recognized by our red company trucks, and the knowledgeable staff are known to provide a valuable service to the community. Safety supervisors travel throughout Wyoming and neighboring states servicing safety equipment such as air packs, gas detection monitors and breathing equipment, as well as providing safety supervision to drilling rigs, confined space rescue and for any other situations that might prove dangerous to workers in the oil, gas and industrial areas of Wyoming and surrounding states.
The company motto is, “It will not leave our hands unless we trust it with our lives.”
The crew at Frandson Safety, lnc. stands behind that motto with quality equipment, service and products. Along with supervision and repair of safety equipment, we offer a full rental line, from trailers stocked with breathing air equipment to gas detection monitors for companies that need equipment on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
We also provide training for H2S + Benzene. We sell and repair fire extinguishers, air equipment and industrial gas detection and will gladly come to a small business or company’s location to do annual inspections and any necessary repairs.
In 2012 Frandson Safety Inc. moved from a 4800 sqft building and expanded to a larger facility of 26,000 sqft. The expansion has allowed Frandson Safety Inc. to provide a large diverse selection of industrial safety equipment and supplies which include first aid supplies, Fire retardant clothing (FRC), to footwear and work and casual clothing for men and women. At Frandson Safety, Inc. the customer comes first, and we strive to meet the needs of all our customers, whether they work in an office or business setting, industrial or oil & gas field community.
In August of 2022 Fred passed away. Our son, Logan Frandson also finished his degree at Montana Technological University with a Bacherlor's in Occupational Safety & Health that year. Prior to that he was an enlisted Marine and flew on KC-130J aircraft. He also obtained his Certified Safety Professional (CSP) license with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) February 2023. He now is on the Gillette side as the Manager, accompanied by his wife Megan Frandson who is the office manager.
